Paid separately: the €278 government registration fee, official records, witnessing where charged, translations, postage and any later passport application.
You arrange witnessing, sign declarations and send the originals. Complex family research is outside this package.
A LITTLE CLARITY

Could I already be Irish?+
If your parent was an Irish citizen when you were born and was born on the island of Ireland, you are normally already Irish. Our initial check helps distinguish the passport route from Foreign Birth Registration.
Is the application completely online?+
No. We help prepare the file digitally, but official records, witnessing and the printed application still need to be arranged and sent as instructed by the Irish authorities.
What if I don't have all the records?+
Your checklist identifies what's missing. The assistant can help you understand where to request a known record. Substantial ancestry research, disputed records and complex cases need a separate specialist.
Does this make the government process faster?+
We help you prepare an organized application. We cannot change the government queue or guarantee approval. Check the official site for current processing times.
